Norlec is a rebranding of the original business named Northern Electronics, which the principal, Mr Con Koutsoheras, established in 1967 as a technical service & repair workshop. Given his passion for music and the influence it has on people, the first specialist showrooms were built in 1977 for the display and auditioning of Hi Fidelity sound, which subsequently and through many showroom variants, have evolved to the present mini theatres.

Our current show rooms are designed with key architectural features in mind, combining acoustics with visual aesthetics and working in conjunction with the home entertainment, cinema surround sound and the integration of lighting, security and automation products for a whole house solution.

Our people, our services

From the Managing Director to the sales and support staff, our people are trained to a high degree in all aspects of our business. We take pride in our product knowledge and you can rest assured that our after sales service will ensure your project performs as you expect. We even have an in-house service department, and are able to carry out any size electrical job courtesy of a fully qualified A Grade electrician.

Our brands

At Norlec we don’t have particular brands to push. Rather, we have the independence to choose only the product that suits your particular need. This independence has been built up over many years and gives us access to a vast array of products including niche and boutique products. Some of the component suppliers we have utilised over the years include Yamaha, Denon, Nad, Marantz, Pioneer, Onkyo, Bose, Benq and many, many others.
